A Liberian woman, filled with dreams of a better life, traveled with her husband and 13 children through Mali en route to a foreign land. What was meant to be a journey of hope turned into a heartbreaking tragedy when she lost her husband along the way.
Left stranded in a foreign land, with 13 young lives depending on her, she faced the unthinkable — a future filled with grief, fear, and uncertainty.
But her story didn’t end there.
Reunited Through Compassion
Through the efforts of compassionate individuals and organizations, she and her children were safely brought back home to Liberia. That’s where Kyne Hands Foundation stepped in.
We successfully reunited the family with their relatives in Grand Cape Mount County. The air was filled with tears of relief, hugs of hope, and the first true smiles they had worn in a long time.
