About Us
People. Purpose.
Kyne Hands Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering vulnerable children and women through education, healthcare and protection, in Liberia and Colorado Springs.
Our Story
Kyne Hands Foundation was established in 2021 by Cynthia Towejue Kyne-Kengo, with a deep commitment to vulnerable children and women.
Cynthia’s passion for this work is deeply personal. Her own mother was mistreated as a child while living with others, and that story shaped Cynthia’s determination that vulnerable Liberian children, especially girls, never experience the same treatment.
What started as a heartfelt vision has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, providing education, healthcare, protection and hope to children and families in Liberia, and serving families in Colorado Springs through outreach, meals and community partnerships.
Her goal: that vulnerable children in Liberia, particularly girls, never go through what her mother did. From coverage of the foundation’s launch in Liberia

Kyne Hands Foundation provides direct support to children and families through programs focused on the prevention of abuse and neglect, food and nutrition, medical care and education. Since our founding, we have provided education and healthcare support to more than 1,000 children.
Through the generosity of our supporters, volunteers and partners, we continue to expand our reach, bringing safety, opportunity and brighter tomorrows to the children we serve.
